Each blue box on the bar under a video is a part you keep. Drag its left and right handles to set the in and out points. Split here cuts the box at the black playhead line; to remove a middle bit, split before and after it, tap that piece and Delete selected part. Tap a box to select it, Play parts plays only what you kept, in order. Then Copy marks and paste them to Claude.
